“Freight Forwarder of the Year – International” award

Schenker India Pvt. Ltd. wins “Freight Forwarder of the Year – International” award at 3rd South East CEO Conclave 2011.

Schenker India Pvt. Ltd., a leading provider of integrated logistics services in the region is declared the winner of the “Freight Forwarder of the Year – International” award at 3rd South East CEO Conclave 2011 at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai. The award ceremony was held on July 27, 2011 and Mr. K. Sankar, Director Region South India received the award on behalf of Schenker India Pvt. Ltd.

The award is conferred by Exim India, one of the largest information provider and publishing house on maritime industry in India. The winners are chosen by key policymakers from the Ministry of Shipping and the Directorate and veterans from the maritime, cargo and logistics sectors. The companies were chosen on the basis of their operational performance, customer friendly service, infrastructure and local penetration within the region South India.

The award once again establishes DB Schenker’s leading position amongst multinational freight forwarding organizations in India and presents an example of DB Schenker’s global capability to cater to the any part of the world through a localized approach.
